LOCATION: Bethesda, Maryland
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in a technical field.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop, implement, and monitor programs and events that promote diversity and inclusion within the government customer and across the Intelligence Community
• Develop and execute a diversity and inclusion communication strategy to ensure broad communication on all initiatives
• Develop and maintain diversity metrics and scorecard to measure success of diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs
• Serve as a liaison and manage activities related to Employee Resource Groups, roundtables, councils, including strategic planning and ensuring results are aligned with diversity and inclusion goals and objectives
• Presents clear and concise information in both written and oral formats, to include creating and responding to correspondence; presenting informational briefings to various audiences; and maintaining internal communications media.
• Identify change management opportunities by assessing and benchmarking current Diversity Outreach Office practices to increase program effectiveness
• Schedule and facilitate program meetings to include preparing agenda items, distribution of agendas, capturing notes, and working follow up actions
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the EEOD office and Intelligence Community with essential customers
• Performs as Action Officer for oversight, monitoring tasks and processes key material whether in electronic or paper form
• Attend various forums (task forces, working groups, briefings, employee councils, etc.) and capture notes and work follow up actions
• Organize and track incoming requirements and follow up actions
• Interact with a diverse customer base to include military, Department of Defense (DoD), and IC elements, and contractor populations
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Prior Diversity and Inclusion experience
• Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks, change focus quickly, and adapt work habits/schedule to meet mission requirement
• Excellent customer service skills and following through to meet desired expectations
• Highly developed oral communication skills; able to express thoughts clearly one-on-one and in various group settings
• Highly developed written communication skills sufficient to compose/write complex memoranda, emails, and communication media
• Ability to use good judgment and demonstrates effective decision-making skills
• Demonstrates considerable ability to analyze and interpret complex data and policies
• Ability to establish and maintain effective contacts with key customers and service providers
• Ability to resolve complex problems with creative application of standard procedures, and leverages other resources to satisfy requirements
• Considerable knowledge of Project Management concepts and principles
