This position is responsible for ensuring current and emerging processes and supporting tools are compliant with ISO 9000, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, and other standards.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1) Emerge yourself in standards/conventions for our processes to ensure our compliance.

2) Perform internal audits to standards including review of processes, training, and objective evidence of our performance to the standard.

3) Create and maintain library of our standards and processes.

4) Able to assist and support co-workers with diverse skills and duties. Able to adapt to changing environments and new technologies. Show good initiative. Able to work under pressure when given a task that is of vital importance to the organization.

5) Perform other duties as needed including supporting proposals.

 



Qualifications:

  • Able to demonstrate "position skills" via training, portfolio, and/or experience
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must be able to follow detailed instructions
  • Must be able to work alone or with a team
  • MS Office skills are preferred
  • Must be able to work outside of comfort zone
  • Strong understanding of process analysis and implementation
  • Successful applicant must be a resident and maintain residency in a SBA HUBZone.

Applicant will train to fulfill all job responsibilities. Individual will be provided training at work. Training will be focused on individual obtaining and maintaining selected certifications.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum Associate Degree or equivalent experience in communications, management or technical/business area.
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to manage a meeting
  • Ability to foster change.
