 POSITION TYPE: Full-Time

CLEARANCE: Top Secret with CI polygraph (REQUIRED before applying for this position)

LOCATION: Bethesda, MD.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4 years of work experience related to the technical requirement against which the individual is slated to perform); and Five (5) years of work experience related to the technical requirement against which the individual is slated to perform. If 4 years of equivalent experience are used instead of a Bachelor’s degree, then a total of nine (9) years of work experience related to the technical requirement against which the individual is slated to perform are required.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Track, analyze, and report on projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Enhance project’s performance by managing operational efficiencies, schedule management, project planning, and documentation management.
  • Create briefing materials for portfolio reviews to aid leadership and stakeholders with decisions to ensure successful implementation of projects.
  • Reduce project lags by supporting internal teams and client activities on strategic data analysis.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering sessions and reviews to advise the Government regarding technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with program managers to implement and enforce project governance/management processes.
  • Take meeting notes as required.
Required Qualifications:
 
  • Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit or administrative specialty;
  • Advanced knowledge of/ability to apply basic methods and procedures used for research and statistical analysis;
  • Advanced ability to analyze data and make accurate projections;
  • Expert ability to exercise sound judgment, handle competing priorities, and properly organize and plan work assignments;
  • Advanced ability to compile, write, and present reports;
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships;
  • Ability to take initiative and independently plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved;
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to maintain organized files;
  • Ability to learn new technologies related to the processing and disposition of information; and
  • Sound understanding of project management practices and principles with five years of demonstrated success.
